O Parque do Pedroso possui uma história muito bonita, clique no link acima. Atualmente é administrado pela Semasa. Porém o parque com o passar das décadas está nesse momento largado a própria sorte.
Não vejo a manutenção ser feita, o teleférico que existia está desativado, póda de arvores e do mato não são feitas regularmente, ausência de segurança pública...
O local em si é maravilhoso, precisa apenas da presença e gestão pública para que volte a ficar agradável, o local ainda possui: playgroung, lagos, jardim japonês, campinho de futebol, ciclovia, trilhas, pequenos rios e quedas d'água...
O fato é que hoje, somente vi usuários de drogas utilizarem o local... tanto no jardim japonês, próximo do lago, no playground.... enfim todos os locais longe da visão da guarita de entrada existiam drogados fumando ao ar livre em plena luz do dia. Quer dizer, eu sou honesto, trabalhei o dia inteiro, estudo e bla bla bla... chegou o fim do dia, fui ao parque para fazer exercícios pedalando e tentar melhorar minha qualidade de vida, fico impedido de circular em segurança pois minha presença atrapalha os usuários de drogas que querem utilizar o espaco público para fumar maconha!
Por esse motivo não recomendo ir sozinho ao parque no meio de semana. Já fui lá de fim de semana sendo mais movimentado e seguro, mas no meio de semana ir sozinho é arriscado meninos e meninas. Tenho um respeito enorme pela história desse parque e a importância dele para a cidade, a prefeitura poderia cuidar melhor do Parque do Pedroso.
No Parque do Pedroso, há trilhas, pista alfaltada, estradinha de terra, ciclovia de lajotas vermelhas tanto dentro quanto fora do parque... não tem sinalização horizontal, nem vertical por enquanto. Essa ciclovia é a que eu mais gosto de Santo André-SP, porque me dá uma paz de espírito pedalar nesse parque sempre com os lagos e a represa billings próximo... eu acho legalllll....
